CAST IRON BRUSSELS SPROUTS

This week in the BBQ Authority Test Kitchen, we fired up the grill and opened up one of our new products from Meat Church. We are so excited for this launch and couldn't wait to try it out! This quick and easy recipe was not only packed with greens, but loaded with flavor. Meat Church's Holy Gospel BBQ Rub is a combination of their award-winning Holy Cow BBQ Rub and The Gospel All-Purpose Rub. This perfect blend is great on literally anything from ribs, chicken, beef, or even what we opted for this week- BRUSSELS SPROUTS. Check out this quick, easy and crazy delicious recipe below.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Sauté the bacon in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  2. When the bacon is about half way cooked, stir in the chopped onions. Continue to cook until the onions are translucent.
  3. Add the Brussels sprouts and olive oil as needed. Toss and season with 1 Tablespoon Meat Church Holy Gospel BBQ Rub.
  4. Continue to cook until Brussels sprouts look charred. Remove from heat and enjoy!
